Harpy admires Leo a lot and thinks he knows her better than she knows herself. like she does disrespect him a little and think he is kind of a delicate weakling who can't entirely take care of himself, but at the same time she considers him incredibly wise and experienced and would listen to him about basically anything. age and seniority do actually matter to Harpy, but Leo is sort of in a place where she conceives him as younger and older at the same time, so she sort of treats him as an elder but also treats him as a junior in different areas... initially she considered him 'older' because she considered everyone 'older' as an amnesiac so technically that could have been moot now that she legitimately has two years' worth of memories on him, but since she still views him as wise and experienced she's just kept going as-is. she also thinks of him as like, the homemaker/caretaker/historically feminine role in her setting which is where a bit of the disrespectful behavior comes in, also she just likes carrying him,
the way she conceives their relationship is very deep and abstract and a little pretentious in the way Harpy is a little pretentious, where it's like... their hearts have touched and they've seen into each other's souls. SO SHE WAS V HAPPY TO EMOTION BOND WITH HIM bc that's just an extension of the relationship she wants to have with him slash considers them to have with each other. Leo early on being like "I just innately understood what she was like and needed bc we're the same kind of person" imprinted on her v strongly esp after viewscream endgame so at this point even if Leo ever gets off that page she will still be surgically stapled to the idea that they are very similar at their core. she would talk to him about anything bc she feels like he would get it, and probably better than she would, and then be able to reframe it and challenge her on it so she could also understand it better. have I mentioned that she loves and thinks the world of him
